Let's stop for a minute, let's throw away the clock and slowly breathe in the gentle August breeze, let's take a sip of a sweet elixir with the taste of a sunny day... Let's let the late summer into our home through the wide open window and weave it into our strong embrace...
What is summer without refreshing ice cream with aromatic juicy peaches and honeyed figs? A delight for the senses, an occasion for shared moments, a warm memory, carefully prepared for a gloomy day...
We prepared the irresistible ice cream together with the wonderful Vicki from My Treasure Corner – talented, inspiring and sunny like summer itself!

Ingredients:
500 ml cream with 35% fat content
1 can of condensed milk – 397 ml
2 well-ripened figs and a few more for decoration
4 peaches or nectarines
½ tsp vanilla extract
The zest of 1 lime
Method of preparation:
Peel the peaches and blend them into a smooth puree. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Add the condensed milk, grated lime zest, vanilla and fruit puree. Cut the figs into small pieces and add to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly. Transfer the ice cream to an ice cream maker or directly into the freezer, placing it in a tightly closed container. Freeze. It can be stirred several times during the freezing process. Serve the finished ice cream with fresh fruit – peaches and figs or toppings of your choice.
