Modena is a small town just 30 minutes by train from Bologna. It charms with its medieval architecture, beautiful squares, narrow neat streets. In the center of Piazza Grande rises the majestic Cathedral of Modena. The beautiful Romanesque building is the heart of the city. The cathedral, the Gothic bell tower called Torre della Ghirlandina and the square where these monuments are located are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From a culinary point of view, Modena is known for its famous balsamic vinegar, Aceto Balsamico di Modena, with a delicate aroma and harmonious acidity. It has been produced since the time of the Roman Empire, under strict quality standards, heavily regulated by the government, and the recipe has been preserved to this day. This product can be aged for up to 50 years in wooden barrels.
The great tenor Luciano Pavarotti lived in Modena, whose house is open as a museum, but it remains on our list for the next trip.
The day spent in Modena was code "red" for us. Entirely dedicated to the incredible Ferrari racing cars. Luxury, elegance, passion, insane speed, enthusiasm, genius... All this is woven into the Ferrari brand. Its creator is not only a native of this city, but over the years has become part of the city's mythology.

The Museo Ferrary displays not only cars, but also awards, photographs, historical objects related to the grandiose Ferrari industry. The spectacle of technological innovation presents the way in which racing cars are transferred from the track to the road and into the urban environment.

Just 300 meters away is the factory, which is still operating at full capacity today, and the restaurant where Enzo Ferrari had lunch.

It is no coincidence that the area around Modena is called the Italian valley of supercars and motorbikes. Within a radius of just 50 km, we can immerse ourselves in the world of famous Italian cars. In addition to the Ferrari museums, there is also the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese; the Collezione Umberto Panini Museum in Modena - preserving the history of Maserati; Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Bologna; Lamborghini Museum and Factory; Ducati Museum in Bologna; Pagani Museum and Factory in San Cesario sul Panaro.
